Chicken and pig feed with an ingredient list!
We grow non-desiccated, non-GMO polycrops that make excellent animal feed which we give to our own livestock.
Studies are demonstrating improved feed value with polycrops over mono crops and by practicing the 5 soil health principles we are improving the land we grow these grains on.
They can be purchased rolled (best for chickens), chopped (best for pigs) or whole in 25 kg feed bags or in bulk. Our feeds are non-desiccated and non-GMO.
This blend is approximately:
43% wheat
21% barley
21% oats
11% lambs quarters
2% canola
1% flax
1% peas/lentils
Price is $1/kg for rolled grain, contact us if you’d like to purchase in a different quantity or whole/chopped instead.

Our chickens are free run with access to a large outdoor paddock. In addition to the worm-eating and bug-scratching that they do the chickens eat non GMO grain that we grow ourselves along with plenty of fruits, vegetables and garden scraps.
We have a mix of heritage breeds in our flock and the eggs pack a nutritional punch with less cholesterol and saturated fat but more vitamin A and E, omega 3's and beta carotene!
