SOME THINGS YOU JUST HAVE TO SEE FOR YOURSELF…

Sure, people’s eyes light up when I describe our 140 acres of sustainably-managed land just 15 minutes outside of Saskatoon, or our ethically-raised cows, sheep, and pigs, or our fabulous products. But when they come out to visit the farm and see our crazy cast of animal characters, and their low-stress standard of natural living, it’s a whole different story.

Our livestock enjoy holistic care, with plenty of sunlight, fresh air, and green space to run around.  Because their lifestyle is carefully managed to mimic the way they would live in the wild, their presence has a positive impact on the land rather than depleting it. And because healthy land grows healthy, diverse forage, our animals produce fabulous food, loaded with nutrition and with a flavor that restaurants in Saskatoon are featuring on their menus. As Michael Pollan wrote in The Omnivore’s Dilemma“When chickens get to live like chickens, they’ll taste like chickens, too.”
