Like all of our animals, our chickens live the most natural life we can give them. Where factory farmed poultry – even “free range, organic” birds – may never see the light of day or run free in the grass, our birds are raised throughout the summer months on fresh pasture, in portable housing that is frequently moved. They do not receive any antibiotics or animal by-products – just plenty of sunlight, fresh air, exercise, and a diet loaded with fresh greens, fruit and vegetable scraps, supplemented with mixed grain (and of course, the bugs they catch for themselves!).

The result? These happy birds, living a natural chicken’s life, produce meat that tastes like real chicken – full of flavor and nutrients. The sort of meat you’ll only find by knowing your farmer and checking them out personally!
